Five of us just got over one yucky stomach bug.
Joe was the first one to get sick. He asked me, "why did I get sick?"
"Oh, you just picked up a little bug."
"How does that make you sick?"
"Well, it gets into your body and your body has to fight to get rid of it and that's what makes you feel sick."
long pause
"I pick up daddy long legs... but I don't eat them."

Too funny. I remember when I was little and getting tested for strep. The doctor explained that the giant Q tip will check to see if there were germs. "What's a germ?" I asked. "Like little bugs that make you sick," came the reply. All I could picture were house flies crawling around in my throat.
