I love it, just love it, when she pulls out her clay box. She tells me often that she doesn't have enough free time and never has the time for her artsy projects.
Hey, I know the feeling.
It's part of growing up... but another part of growing up is realizing that the "free time" that diminishes with childhood is replaced with responsibilities that (if your heart is in the right place) may be more tiring, more tedious, more taxing, but so much more rewarding.

But for now, she is still in the midst of her childhood. And to watch her enjoying a few minutes of creative play, is just as much fun for me as it would be if I were playing with the clay myself.
Besides, I wouldn't want her to show me up.

I love all of her creations. She is so creative. I hope this is something she will always enjoy, no matter what age she is at.
How perfectly creative! It reminds me of a children's book that we took out of the library once. The illustrations in the book were actually pictures made out of clay figurines, fabric with some beads and stones. It was one of our favorite books - the little girls would sit for a long time staring at each scene.
Maybe something like that is in her future?? :)
He's a cute little creation, she's very good!
that is amazing! She needs to put her characters down on paper with stories to make them come alive. She is so talented!
It amazes me every time I see something that she has made. I have no idea how she does it! Put me on her Christmas list please! :)
