She has been coming up with all kinds of new words lately. You still can barely understand her. But some words come out crystal clear. Like "jewelry" (that's an important one) and "tickle" and today as we were pulling out of the driveway after a visit with the cousins, she sobbed "Bye bye, Beck-a, bye bye, Li-ly" (Livy) and then a great big sob and very dramatic "byyyyye, bye!"

Sometimes when I look at a certain picture of my children, it's like getting a glimpse into their future. There's a knowing that this is what they're going to look like in a few years or as a teenager. That's what this picture of Gracie is like. It's beautiful.
Now really, have you met every one year old to know that she is your favorite? :)
