Little Sadie Lady

I missed the Sadie Lady Christmas party tonight. Sniff, sniff. Now I'm mad at myself for not taking the night off. Oh, well, you can't do everything. The girls went and filled me in when I got home. They had to bring a gift to exchange, so Paige worked extra hard all week making one of her signature clay figures, sadie lady style.
Every day she would work another little part of it and then show me and say, "The head is too big" "the collar is too small" "Do you think the mop handle is too long?" "I'm going to do the hair over, it looks funny."
So I said "You're really too hard on yourself."
"That's because I know I can do better."
Well, I know I couldn't do better than that.

That's just amazing to me! I think I might be able to make a clay snake. Great job Paige!

That is a wonderful talent from God! So cute!
And I have confidence thtat Michelle could even make a snail.
All she has to do is coil the snake and pinch some antennae in the top! =0)

I have been watching little parts of this little lady come together, and I was so glad to be able to play dirty Santa, and get her for my collection. I love them. I have seen some of the time and effort that has gone into these little gems, and they are wonderful. Thanks Paige!!

What a wonderful talent. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. It was amazing and so perfect, even to the minute detail of Windex on the bottle.

So would Paige be interested in making me a baby one for Chase's first Christmas ornament? Does working from a picture help? I could be her first paying customer. :)

I should've been the dirty Santa and stole the Sadie Lady from her grandma.
