Then Wednesday came along and we had snow, a lot of it! Well, enough to cover the ground by Thursday morning. The kids loved it. Grace went out when it started to see "her first snow that she's alive and she remembas!"

By Friday afternoon it was warm again. I think it got up to 65. It was great because we had friends over and the kids were able to play outside all day.
The cowboys loved it.

But Caleb didn't. No, he wasn't sad all day, just when Michelle held him.
Just kidding - he cried for me, too.

"Can YOU pick me up?"

We painted some pumpkins (well, gourds). Nina picked a white one and told us she was going to paint it black and orange. This was her reaction when someone asked her "why didn't you just get an orange one?"

We also had google eyes in case someone wanted to make a silly face.
I meant on the pumpkins!

These ones tasted extra yummy.

Thanks, Stacy!!!! I look like I'm taking sadistic glee in making him cry!!! I'll reluctantly admit the rest of your pictures are cute.
Love these! The kids just made me go over them again and again and again so they could see them all. They had an absolute blast! They've been talking about how much fun they had ever since we went. I'm glad I took a couple of hours to do that. Winter's coming...
And yes, Michelle looks a little too happy. But then again, Nina's pretty funny, too. ;)
Well, Michelle, now we know what you're really doing in that nursery!
You could have at least "photo-shopped" my double chin!!!
hehe i love the picture of the girls and there eyes. (: I also love the on of you on the horse. It is a really good picture. I love the ones that you do that have that soft look (I'm sure there is a special name for it). (;
