Sick Day

 Just relaxing today, a few of us recovering from colds. I came downstairs this morning to find the babies sitting on the couch watching a movie. We don't normally watch movies in the middle of the day, let alone first thing in the morning, but I thought, hey, we're sick. Why not?

Joshua paused the movie. "Joshua! Turn the TV back on!"
Without even turning his head, "Nah. Not til you go get me a par tart."
"Joshua!"
"Par tart, Grace."

And yeah, she jumped up and got him his pop tart.

In the middle of our day, when its hard to notice little things in the midst of overflowing laundry, schoolbooks piled high on the table, and legos under my feet, I spotted this left on the table. It looked so sweet, I stopped what I was doing and ran for my camera.

What was even sweeter was going back into the kitchen a few minutes later to spot this.

Mema's Day

"Mema's day" has taken on a whole new meaning as of two weeks ago when she showed up with her new puppy. I had to go to work but all I heard the following day were stories about cute little Sadie.
